But we played for a couple hours anyway. We took it as an opportunity to play all the tunes in the book we rarely touch, “Muskrat Ramble”, “Tiger Rag”, “San”, “Market for You”, “Ain’t Misbehavin'” etc… It was fun if not terribly lucrative. I felt really happy seeing some toddlers dancing as if their ecstatic little lives depended on it. (Cassidy on Bass, Tuba Joe is Albuquerque this week.)
